Job Summary:
Following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, MRI Technologists perform imaging procedures for diagnostic interpretation. They assist radiologists as needed, supervise student MRI technologists, and maintain good customer relations. Responsibilities include patient care during imaging procedures, efficient use of imaging equipment, patient preparation and education, accurate data entry, and adherence to safety and hospital policies. The role also involves teamwork, flexibility, and maintaining confidentiality while promoting the mission and values of the organization.

Required Qualifications:
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
• Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals

Preferred Qualifications:
• Cross-sectional anatomy experience or MRI experience

Additional Information:
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients
• Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and radiation
• Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, or irregular hours
• May require on-call duties, weekend, or holiday work
• Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to operate MRI and post-processing equipment
• Professional demeanor and strict confidentiality required
