Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. The RN performs therapeutic nursing interventions, manages patient care, and documents care based on standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. They advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Patient-centric care is provided in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience
• ASN degree
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• BLS - AHA certification
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• NIHSS certification
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam
• CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of Telemetry/Stepdown experience
• BSN degree

Additional Information:

• ACLS certification required
