Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed
Required - "must have neuro experience and NIHH is preferred
Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred. Willing and able to float in department as needed as well as work every other weekend, a fair share of holidays. Have ACLS, BLS,NIHSS.
This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.
We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, assisting physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, administering medications, and monitoring physiological data. The role also involves interacting with patients and families to share care plans, making referrals, and delegating tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Some computer skills.
Required Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (American Heart Association).
