Description
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed
Required - Associates req. experience with antepartum or L&D, postpartum, and newborn care. They need to have Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, and ACLS certs.

Job Summary:
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting all changes in physician orders. Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures. Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene when necessary. Administer medications, initiate and monitor IV infusions and blood products. Deliver competent patient care, interact with patients and families to share care plans, and provide discharge instructions. Inform patients and families of hospital procedures, make referrals as needed, and delegate tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications:
- One year of experience
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills

Required Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a board-approved program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
