Job Title: Mammography Tech Location: Not specified Job Summary: The Mammography Technologist performs radiographic mammography procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic films for detecting breast tissue abnormalities. This role operates independently, requiring judgment, creativity, and initiative to perform a variety of procedures. Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Demonstrates positioning competency.</li><li>Knowledgeable about breast self-examinations, including answering questions and providing written materials to patients.</li><li>Physical requirements: lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, standing, and walking.</li><li>HS Diploma or GED.</li><li>ARRT registration.</li><li>Current Rad Tech license in the state of practice.</li><li>Must meet and maintain ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification.</li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.</li><li>Must meet and maintain mammography-specific ACR FDA/MQSA requirements.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Experience in Imaging or Mammography.</li></ul> Additional Information: <ul><li>A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment.</li><li>Providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer or assignment when available.</li><li>If a new badge is issued, prior exposure history will not be reflected.</li></ul> QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE Work Authorization : US Citizen Preferred years of experience : 1 years Travel required : No travel required Shift timings :
