Requirements:
Cardiac experience is required. Stepdown/PCU experience. Need candidates familiar with chest tubes, drips + half med/surg half step down. Cardiac rehab and pre/post procedures as well as cardiac stabilizations. Located in our newer tower. Monitors in rooms.
Unit is a mixed Cardiovascular floor with 24 beds-12 Step-Down and 12 Med-Surg. Must have Cardiac unit with step down experience. May be asked to interpret EKG, monitor Rhythms and rates, as well collaborate with Cardiac rehab, education, and discharge planning.
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include delivering competent patient care, documenting responses to interventions, assisting physicians, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and interacting with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures.
Required Qualifications:
• One year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
