Description

Surgical Tech - Travel

Job Summary
Assist in the care of the surgical patient by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures. The Surgical Tech must have a thorough understanding of the procedures being performed, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, and ensure quality patient care during operations. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, adhering to hospital policies related to the Operating Room, and practicing Standard Precautions to ensure a safe environment.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician certification.
High School Graduate or GED.
Graduate from an accredited program.

Additional Information

Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
