Job Title: RN - Rehab - Contract - MSM
Location: Mount Sinai Morningside
Contract Length: 3x12 schedule
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Rehabilitation Medicine team at Mount Sinai Morningside. The RN will deliver patient-centered care by applying the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and the principles of Relationship-Centered Care. Responsibilities include assessing and managing patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, and ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of care. The RN will also contribute to professional development, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and perform charge nurse duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Active NYS RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 2 years of rehabilitation and mechanical ventilation experience
• 1 year of travel nursing experience (for travel positions only)
Preferred Qualifications:
• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program
Additional Information:
• Average unit census: 21
• 25 beds per unit
• Schedule: 3x12 shifts
• Demonstrated ability to manage patient care effectively and professionally
