Description

Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
In this position, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures to obtain desired radiographic results according to physicians' specifications. Responsibilities include transferring patients for examinations, using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, and assisting with the x-ray examination process.

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • Registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • CT certified.
  • BLS - American Heart Association.

  • A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment. Providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer or assignment when available. If a new badge is issued, prior exposure history will not be reflected.
