Job Summary:
Provides specific patient care duties and performs unit support activities in the operating room suite. The role involves ensuring compliance with Sharp HealthCare practices, policies, and procedures, maintaining regulatory requirements, providing quality care to operating room patients, documenting and communicating important data, and identifying problems to improve department objectives and quality of care.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years as a scrub person in a hospital setting
• BLS for HealthCare providers

Preferred Qualifications:
• Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training
• Scrub Tech Certification
• Minimum of high school education

Additional Information:
• Must have strong heart and be proficient in ortho, neuro, and robotic procedures for general cases when no hearts are involved
