Description

Radiology Interventional Technologist

Job Summary
Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of procedures of an invasive nature to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, administering prescribed medications, assisting Radiologists in complex diagnostic procedures, and ensuring proper imaging techniques and safety practices.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BLS).
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with advanced registry in one of the following: Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV).
