Description

Mammography Tech-Diagnostic

Job Summary
Produces quality screening and diagnostic mammography films and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEA) exams. Educates patients regarding exams and accurately documents procedures completed and procedure codes. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. Interacts compassionately and effectively with patients, providing a Five Star experience by reducing anxieties, explaining procedures and equipment, and answering questions.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiology (R).
California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license in Radiography and Mammography.
American Heart Association BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in mammography screening.

Additional Information

Pay range: $60/hr - $90/hr.
Work may be required at both main campus and satellite facilities.
Proficient in the use of mammography and DEA equipment.
