Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist)
Job Summary
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices. Ensures optimal patient care, safety, and comfort while adhering to department protocols.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
Certifications/Licensures Required
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of hire).
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).

Additional Information
• Work may involve exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and potentially contagious patients.
