Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Title: Level I Radiology Technologist
Job Summary:
Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations. The role aids medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects, and/or diseases.
Required Qualifications:
• Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
• Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to apply core-level primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques.
Required Education:
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty.
OR
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Must meet applicant eligibility requirements and published standards for ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department. Certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire date.
• AHA BLS certification.
Preferred Education:
• Associate’s degree or higher.
