Job Title: Radiology Tech CWR

Location: New Jersey

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This role involves producing diagnostic radiographic examinations, performing portable x-ray examinations, assisting physicians with radiopaque contrast media, and completing administrative duties related to patient care and record maintenance. The technologist must adhere to operational procedures, maintain orderly workspaces, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements
• Must possess New Jersey State License
• Ability to meet the requirements for the National Registry and pass the examination

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience, preferably in orthopedics

Additional Information:
• The role requires lifting a minimum of 5 lbs., pushing and pulling a minimum of 10 lbs., and standing for a minimum of 6 hours a day
• The technologist must identify and address the needs of the patient population served, including age, culture, language, and impairments
• Adherence to the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies is mandatory
