Job Title: MRI Tech Location: Utah Job Summary: Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Performs MRI examinations per department protocol while demonstrating proficiency in anatomical positioning, cross-sectional anatomy, and electronic imaging. Coordinates with radiologists to select proper scanning techniques and protocols, administers intravenous contrast material under supervision, and adheres to MRI safety policies. Responsible for maintaining quality control programs, documenting events, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Required Qualifications: • One year of experience in MRI • ARRT registered technologist • Current Utah State Licensure (for positions in Utah) to administer RX • Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers • Post-hire expectations: IV certification competency within three months of hire • Post-hire expectations: Controlled substance module completion within six months of hire (where applicable) • Post-hire expectations: Moderate sedation module completion within six months of hire (where applicable) Preferred Qualifications: • MR registered by ARRT Additional Information: • Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Standing required
