Job Title: Surgical Tech - CVOR

Location: Louisville, KY

Job Summary:
The surgical technologist works under the direct supervision of an RN in the operating room environment. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and skills regarding operating room procedures. The candidate must be highly motivated, self-directed, and possess a positive attitude and effective communication skills. Responsibilities include flexible work schedules and ancillary duties such as cleaning rooms between cases, stocking rooms, assisting in the central sterile area, expediting room turnover, and demonstrating good organizational skills. Teamwork is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:
- One (1) year of experience as a Scrub Tech or training.
- Accepts responsibility for words, actions, attitude, and results while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
- Practices effective, clear, and respectful communication (both verbal and written) and demonstrates attentiveness through active listening and engaged body language.

- Warmly, personally, and professionally greets all internal and external customers, promoting a high level of satisfaction by providing information about what to expect, actively listening, and intentionally following up on questions and concerns, including taking corrective action when necessary.

Required Education: One of the following is required
- Completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Tech Program.
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program in the United States Armed Forces.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS certification.
- NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS‑C).
