Description

Job Title: RN UP - ED

Location: Illinois

Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources. This role involves maintaining accurate documentation, developing and implementing care plans, modifying care based on continuous evaluation, ensuring patient and staff safety, and collaborating effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN degree
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN degree

Additional Information:
• Implements procedures and theories specific to ED nursing
• Performs patient assessments and develops care plans in collaboration with providers, families, and patients
• Modifies care plans based on continuous assessment
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records/documentation
• Provides constructive feedback to peers to support professional development
• Adheres to safety standards and corrects/reports safety hazards
