Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame. The RN provides care using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources within the institution's philosophy. Responsibilities include performing unit-specific duties, implementing procedures and theories, maintaining accurate documentation, assessing patients upon admission, developing and modifying care plans, ensuring safety, and fostering professional development.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN

Additional Information:
• Travelers in this position will be responsible for unit keys that must be returned to Carle Health at the completion of the assignment. If it is not possible to physically return the keys, they may be shipped to the facility with a tracking number. Failure to return these keys within 30 days from the last day worked will result in a $350 fee assessed to the supplier.
