Description

Surgical Tech - Travel

Job Summary
Assist in the care of the surgical patient by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures. Understand the procedures being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Ensure quality patient care during operative procedures while maintaining the sterile field. Follow instructions from Physicians and RNs closely, adhering to established hospital policies related to the Operating Room. Maintain a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician certification.
High School Graduate or GED.
Graduate from an accredited program.

Additional Information

Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
