Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: State of New Jersey
Job Summary: The Pharmacy Tech is responsible for supporting pharmacists in the preparation, distribution, and management of medications. Key responsibilities include accurately filling orders, preparing extemporaneous and sterile preparations, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with automated dispensing machine protocols. The role also involves teamwork, performance improvement initiatives, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Omnicell and EPIC systems and have a strong knowledge of IV equipment, sterile techniques, and safe handling of hazardous drugs.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Current active registration with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
- Omnicell and EPIC experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years)
- Previous oncology/infusion center experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
