Job Title: RN - Extended Care

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Extended Care utilizes a comprehensive approach to patient care, focusing on the individual’s role within their family, culture, and society. The RN employs the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Acting as a resident advocate, the RN provides information to support health decisions, coordinates care, and works with residents to achieve or maintain their highest practicable level of function. Guided by specialized knowledge in physiological and psychological sciences, the RN ensures care quality meets legal and professional standards while serving as a role model for the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
