Job Title: RN-MedSurg/Tele

Location: Elizabethtown, KY

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and creativity in clinical decision-making, incorporating all phases of the nursing process. Responsibilities include coordinating and providing direct patient care, conducting nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges, educating patients and families, and ensuring individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS certification.
• ADN or ASN degree.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous nursing experience.
• BSN degree.
