Job Summary: Performs routine and special diagnostic procedures requiring technical skill, judgment, and independent decision-making following established standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, accessioning duties, and assisting the Laboratory Supervisor in technical and administrative functions. The role requires strict confidentiality, effective communication with patients, the public, and healthcare professionals, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• ASCP, ASCPI, NCA, or AMT registered as a MT, MLS, or IMLS.
• B.S. in Medical Technology or a Bachelor's degree with prerequisite coursework and clinical training.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, must meet alternate route requirements for education and training as set forth by ASCP, NCA, or AMT.
• Capability to operate laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to perform patient phlebotomy.
• Superior work knowledge and organizational skills.
• Strict confidentiality of work-related information.
