Job Title: Histotechnologist I

Job Summary:
Performs routine and special Histology procedures requiring technical skill, judgment, and independent decision-making following established standards, policies, and procedures. Maintains strict confidentiality of work-related information and works effectively with patients, the public, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
At least one year of laboratory work experience.
Ability to operate Histology instrumentation and make sound decisions under stressful conditions and time constraints.
Capability to organize workflow and communicate clearly.
Proficiency in using office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and computer terminals.

Additional Information:

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and stooping.
