Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and approved organizational standards. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and caregivers, and ensures quality and safety in all aspects of care.
Required Qualifications:
• NYS RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
Additional Information:
• 1 year of travel experience required for travel positions, not required for per diem positions
