Location: Elizabethtown, KY

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, fostering a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are guided by evidence, current research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes clinical decision-making, critical thinking, and creativity across all phases of the nursing process. Responsibilities include coordinating and providing direct patient care, conducting nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification.
• ADN or ASN degree.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous nursing experience.
• BSN degree.
