Requirements: Daytime EMU, Mon-Fri 0700-1530, Approximately every 6th weekend working 0700-1930 Saturday and Sunday with three comp days off during
13 week assignment

Job Summary
The Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist functions as a multi-skilled member of the Division's technical staff, performing EEG (including on-call rotation), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic, and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. Responsibilities include patient preparation, data acquisition, and ensuring a safe testing environment. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in Applied Science or related science (not applicable for hires prior to 2013).
- Current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist graduate, or current CNT student.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- EEG or CLTM registry certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with above-average communication skills (verbal and written).
- Competency in neurodiagnostic procedural testing, including electrode application for adult and pediatric EEGs using the standard 10-20 or 10-10 systems.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining EEG recordings for surgical, adult, and pediatric patients.
- Ability to respond to seizures, troubleshoot equipment, assist with SPECT injections, and provide shift reports on patient information.
- Experience acting as a liaison between nurses and physicians to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Mentorship experience with student technologists rotating through inpatient practice.
