Electrophysiology Technologist CWR
Location: Not specified
Contract Length: 5x8hr or 4x10hr shifts
Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist physicians with all invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. Responsibilities include assisting with circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella, preparing and organizing equipment, calibrating and testing transducers, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining hemostasis at vascular access sites. The role also involves inventory management, adherence to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) requirements, and participation in catheterization lab on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program, Radiologic Technologist program, or Associates degree in Applied Science (AAS).
- AHA BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment.
- Successful completion of RCIS exam by CCI or Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Additional Information:
- Knowledge of electrophysiology intra-procedure mapping, ablation, implant devices, and sterile scrub technique.
- Experience in cath lab/EP required.
- Work hours: 11AM - 7:30PM or 9AM - 7:30PM.
- Weekends and holidays as needed.
- On-call responsibilities required.
