Description
Requirements: Contingent positions requested as part of the SCC Hillcrest employment transition in Tulsa. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the RN Oncology Infusion Clinic provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. This role involves administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patient responses, assisting physicians during procedures, educating patients and families, and coordinating follow-up care. The RN ensures competent patient care delivery and maintains effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
