Job Title: RN - Med/Surg

Job Summary:
Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, performing health teaching and counseling, providing therapy and treatment, and executing delegated medical functions. The role involves ongoing evaluation of health status, documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and promoting the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health. Floating to other departments and being placed on-call during scheduled shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN)
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as appropriate for unit or service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Certification as appropriate for unit or service
