Job Title: RN UP - CVICU/Step
Location: Illinois
Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and resources within the institution's philosophy. This role involves performing unit-specific responsibilities, implementing procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, developing and modifying care plans, ensuring safety, and fostering professional development.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN degree
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN degree
Additional Information:
• Provide direct care to CVICU patients, including post-op CABG, vascular, and ICU status patients
• Maintain hospital and unit-based competencies
• Perform hourly rounding on patients
• Proactively assist internal and external customers
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
