Job Title: RN-Cath Lab

Location: Lexington, KY

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are based on evidence, current research, hospital and department policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. Clinical decision-making incorporates all phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity. The RN coordinates, ensures, and provides direct patient care activities, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family-centered education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:

• ADN or ASN degree.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS , Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation, NIHSS, ACLS
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree.
• Previous nursing experience.
