Job Summary: The RN - Radiology will serve as a critical member of the medical team, providing specialized care to patients undergoing radiological procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, administering intravenous fluids and contrast mediums, monitoring vital signs, identifying unexpected reactions, and providing post-procedure care. The RN will also collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg Radiology experience in a large acute care hospital setting, with the most recent experience within the past year.
• Proficiency in physical assessment.
• Experience in medication administration.
• Expertise in wound care and infection control.
• Competence in IV therapy.
• Knowledge of post-operative care.
• Ability to provide patient education.
• Telemetry monitoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC EMR experience.

Required Certification & Licensure:

• New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification.
• AHA BLS certification.

Preferred Certification & Licensure:

• ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certifications.
