Job Summary:
Following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, MRI Technologists perform imaging procedures for diagnostic interpretation. They ensure patient care and safety during procedures, provide age-appropriate care, and assist radiologists as needed. Responsibilities include obtaining correct written orders, instructing and preparing patients, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining professional communication with patients, families, and colleagues. MRI Technologists also adhere to hospital and safety policies, practice radiation protection, and support departmental goals while maintaining confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
• Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in cross-sectional anatomy or MRI

Additional Information:
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients
• Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and potential infectious materials
• Frequent exposure to radiation and occasional exposure to toxic chemicals
• Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, or irregular hours
• May require on-call duties and work during weekends/holidays
