Job Title: Physical Therapist, ClinSpec

Location: The Woodlands Campus, outpatient building, 2nd floor

Contract Length: Temporary

Job Summary: The Physical Therapist will plan, evaluate, organize, and implement Physical Therapy (PT) treatment programs for patients ranging from neonates to adulthood in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized care plans, setting measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families, performing patient care activities, monitoring responses to treatment, recommending adaptive equipment, and fabricating orthotic supplies. The role requires effective communication with interdisciplinary care teams and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Temporary Physical Therapist license acceptable contingent upon obtaining permanent license prior to expiration
• State of Texas Physical Therapist license
• 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric, women’s health, orthopedics, or sports medicine OR 1 year of residency in these areas

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of rehabilitative care for acute and chronic conditions
• Understanding of development from neonate to adulthood
• Exceptional performance appraisal ratings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic office equipment (fax, copier, PC)

Additional Information:

• Position is for an outpatient physical therapist in the developmental department
• Work schedule: Day shift on Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat OR 12-hour shifts on Mon, Thu, Fri (7:00-19:00) with remote access for documentation
• Collaborative work environment alongside other PTs, OTs, and SLPs
