Job Title: RN UP Opt A - CIA

Location: Illinois

Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources. The RN ensures patient safety, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. This role involves floating to various inpatient units and fulfilling departmental competencies.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience
• ASN degree
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN degree

Additional Information:
• Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs
• Completes Unit Nurse Leader Training as needed
• Provides direct nursing care and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
• Conducts and documents assessments, nursing diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care
• Precepts staff from various units as needed
• Coordinates care to facilitate the highest possible quality patient care
