Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Tech is responsible for accurately filling orders, preparing extemporaneous preparations, and stocking all areas. They handle distribution and returns, support departmental goals, and prepare sterile IVs aseptically. The role includes managing automated dispensing machines, repackaging medications, and ensuring inventory control. The Pharmacy Tech actively participates in performance improvement initiatives and maintains professional interactions with patients, coworkers, and allied health professionals.

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Current active registration with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
- Omnicell and EPIC experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years)
- Previous oncology/infusion center experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

Additional Information:
- The role requires strong knowledge of IV equipment, sterile technique, total parenteral nutrition, and safe handling of hazardous drugs.
