Surgical Tech - Travel

Job Summary
Assist in the care of the surgical patient by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures. The Surgical Tech must understand the procedures being performed, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, and ensure quality patient care during operations. Responsibilities include maintaining the sterile field, following physician and RN instructions, and adhering to hospital policies related to the Operating Room. Additionally, the Surgical Tech must practice Standard Precautions at all times and maintain a safe environment in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician certification.
High School Graduate or GED.
Graduate from an accredited program.
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 35 lbs.
Capability to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
