Job Title: RN-Progressive Care Unit

Location: Elizabethtown, KY

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, creating a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, including assessments, treatments, patient education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning. The role involves active participation in quality improvement activities and fostering a positive, healing environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• ADN or ASN degree.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with care team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous nursing experience.
• BSN degree.
