Job Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members, the Surgical Technician is responsible for handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures. The role requires understanding the assigned surgical procedure and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Additional responsibilities include patient preparation, transport, building services, and assisting the surgical care team with specific patient care duties to ensure safety and comfort. The Surgical Technician must also respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years of recent experience as a Surgical Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred but not required).
