Job Title: Mammography Tech
Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Job Summary:
Provides health care services applying X-ray energy to assist in screening of breast disease. Performs breast imaging, bone densitometry, computer processing, and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Three (3) years of experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to operate all the equipment related to the job.
• Attention to detail.
• Accepts responsibility for words, actions, attitude, and results while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.

Required Education:
 

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiology Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

• BLS Certification.
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) - Radiography License.
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification.
• ARRT Mammography (M) Certification.
