Description

Job Title: Nuclear Med Tech

Location: South Carolina

Job Summary: Following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Responsibilities include patient care during imaging procedures, assisting radiologists, supervising student technologists, and maintaining good customer relations. The role also involves efficient use of imaging equipment, instructing patients, ensuring accurate data entry, adhering to safety policies, and promoting departmental goals.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals
South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA)-Nuclear Medicine certification
Nuclear Medicine Certification from AART or NMTCB
BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Ability to perform and teach Nuclear Medicine exams
