Job Summary:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist, under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, and Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy under medical direction, performing intubation assistance, ventilator setup and management, gathering patient information for evaluation, and educating patients and caregivers. The role requires developing rapport with patients and team members, documenting education provided, and adhering to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
• BLS - AHA certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license
• Current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience
