Job Title: CT Technologist - MSBI - Contract

Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy. This role requires the use of appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce quality diagnostic CT images. The technologist will perform daily quality control checks on equipment, inject patients with radioactive material as per physician orders, and maintain compliance with radiation safety guidelines. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, ordering and verifying radiopharmaceutical doses, and ensuring proper equipment functionality. The technologist must exercise sound judgment to assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after visits in the Radiology department.
Required Qualifications:
- New York State License (L.R.T)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of CT experience
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
