Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Not specified

Job Summary:
This position operates and prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The role requires applying technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs.

Required Qualifications:

Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.
Excellent technical skills and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
ARRT MRI registry certification.
BCLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of experience in MRI.

Additional Information:

Adherence to infection control policies and protocols.
Strict compliance with safety standards to prevent the introduction of ferromagnetic material into the scan room.
Participation in professional development and in-service meetings as required.
