Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) care. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. This role involves providing direct bedside care, administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-operative care. The ideal candidate will adhere to best nursing practices and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital or post-acute facility, with the most recent experience within the past year.
• Proficiency in physical assessment, medication administration, wound care, infection control, IV therapy, post-operative care, patient education, and telemetry monitoring.
• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute.
• New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification (Queens only).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
