Job Title: RN - ICU - Contract - MSH

Location: Mount Sinai Hospital

Contract Length: Variable

Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational standards. The RN will assess and evaluate patient care needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and caregivers, and prioritize all aspects of patient care. Additionally, the RN will ensure quality and safety practices, engage in professional development, and contribute to operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of critical care/tele experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem positions)

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program

• Staffing Guidelines: 1:2
• Schedule: 3x12, every other weekend, variable shifts
