Description

Job Title: RN - ED - Contract - MSH

Job Summary: The ER Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, applying the nursing process based on evidence-based practices, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans. The nurse prioritizes patient care, educates patients and caregivers, communicates effectively, and ensures safe and efficient patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

Active NYS RN License
ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience (adults and/or pediatrics)
1 year travel experience with EPIC experience highly preferred
Trauma experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, CEN
BSN degree
PALS certification
NIHSS Certification

Additional Information:
