Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology. Responsibilities include assisting with the orientation and training of Cath Lab staff, participating in special projects, and adhering to medical ethics principles. The role requires expertise in ECG interpretation, cardiac medications, and clinical laboratory values, as well as proficiency in monitoring diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and responding to emergencies using ACLS standards. The candidate will also be responsible for setting up and managing necessary supplies, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, and utilizing advanced imaging technologies.

Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI)
• Valid BCLS certification
• ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire

Additional Information:
• Ability to scrub in a sterile environment for extended periods
• Ability to wear lead aprons weighing up to 5 lbs. for extended periods
• Ability to lift patients with team assistance as needed
• Ability to push a bed or stretcher with an immobilized patient with team assistance as needed
